Clubs

National Junior Honor Society is more than an honor roll. We recognize students who demonstrate excellence in academics, service, and citizenship. All our members maintain a 3.5 (or higher) GPA and serve throughout our school and community.

Student Council/Student Leadership

Student Council
Student Council/Student Leadership provides an opportunity for student empowerment and leadership. Our members are representatives voicing student concerns with school and community administration. They also serve and represent our school at public functions and raising funds to help our school and other organizations.

Journalism/Yearbook
Journalism/Yearbook is a hands-on learning time that teaches students aspects of journalism and publishing. Throughout the year, we learn about photography and graphic design, writing and editing, and marketing and sales. These skills culminate in weekly and monthly journalism postings and an end-of-year project—our yearbook.

Math Club
Love numbers or geometry? Need help figuring out that trig problem? Come to Math Club to learn shortcuts and skills that will help you master and enjoy math.

Astronomy Club
Come and join a fun, exciting club that looks into the stars and beyond. We have an amazing Astronomy Observatory that we are so blessed to share with our students, parents and the community. Come monthly to use the telescopes and other tools to view and learn about our solar system.

Dances

Cody CAN and the CMS Student Council/Student Leadership club sponsors several dances and social events for our students throughout the year. Each event is typically held in the evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Stay tuned to our News Page for information about dates and ticket sales.
