Adaptive Habitat Expert Joe Skorupski with Wyoming Fish & Game was able to spend time teaching 2nd graders about Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout .



This week 4th grade learned about the tectonic boundaries! We used Graham crackers and frosting to learn the different landformations that are created when divergent, convergent, and transforming plates collide.





Kindergarteners had a special treat today!
Thanks to a kind kinder friend, we all had the opportunity to learn about the Mid Autumn Festival, a Chinese tradition! It is celebrated with yummy Moon Cake on the night of a full moon (which is tonight!)

Kindergarten has been cruising through the ABC's.
"M" has been a letter this week.











In 4th grade science, we learned about how volcanoes create landforms. We experimented with fast-flowing lava and thick/pasty lava to see different land formations!








Homecoming is just around the corner!

Adventure Education promotes problem-solving, trust, self-management, creative thinking, reasoning, and self-esteem.
Our intermediate grades are finishing up their Adventure Ed challenges in PE this week.











The STREAM class listened to an amazing story about Philippe Petit, who walked on a tight rope between the Twin Towers.
Then they had to “Engineer” a tower that could balance a ping pong ball.
