2025 Cody Fillies Golf Team Finishes Season as 3A State Runner-Up!
Wheatland took the team title in both boys and girls at the meet held at Olive Glenn. The Cody boys finished seventh overall in the team tally.
Carson Krebes was the low man for the Cody Broncs and finished fifth at state. Eliana Hopkin was fourth for the girls and Claire Rusin also finished in the top 10 in seventh place for the individual scores.
“We had beautiful weather and the course was in great shape,” Cody coach Jake Kraft said. “Our girls played well and had a good state meet to finish second. The boys team also played well in the final meets of the season.”
All of the Cody girls finished in the top 20 individual marks. Jordan Shumard and Ashlyn Wiener finished tied for 12th place. Jaida Brice finished 17th overall. Charlie McGonagle also finished in the top 20 for the boys meet.
Wheatland junior Tate Nichols won his second straight individual medalist honor with a two-day total of 142. Buffalo junior Addison Bettinger won the girls title with a 154 total.
